The In-Season Tournament is divided into two key stages – Group Play and the Knockout Rounds.

In the Group Play stage, the 30 teams are randomly grouped into six clusters based on their win-loss records from the previous season. From November 3rd through November 28th, each squad competes in four designated Group Play games on “Tournament Nights”, playing one game against each rival in its group.
Stage 2: Knockout Rounds
The Knockout Rounds are a ruthless, single-elimination stage where the top teams from each group and two “wild cards” compete. The Quarterfinals are held in NBA team markets, while the Semifinals and Championship take place in Las Vegas. The winners will walk away with a share of the prize pool and the inaugural NBA Cup.
